§ De passage le 16/06/2014, je confirme la qualité de ce camping, un des plus calmes rencontrés, avec vue sur le lac. Sanitaires impeccables avec eau chaude a volonté,et prix raisonnable : 16 € pour CC et 2 personnes avec électricité, si on dispose d'une carte de camping, sinon 20 €. (on peut tenter de marchander). 26 € en Juillet/Aout. Plage a 10 min. a pied. Randonnée autour du lac 3 a 4 heures ( 5 a 7 heures si on monte sur les hauteurs, 500 m. de dénivellé).

This location is the excellent Camping Gajole (www.campinggajole.it) alongside Lago di Corlo. We stayed 2 nights with a 7.5m CC in May 2014. It is a full campsite, not an aire. It should not be confused with Camping al Lago which is another campsite a couple of km along the shore of the Lake. The entrance is a bit shabby but once inside the location is beautiful and the facilities are excellent. The site is on a grassy hillside leading down to the lake. There is a mixture of fixed cabins, permanent caravans and touring pitches. The touring pitches are mainly on grassy terraces and I would suggest they are mainly suitable for tents or caravans towed by 4x4s. However there are 7 large, level gravelled pitches suitable for CCs up to 8m, alongside the main amenities block. Facilities include fresh water, grey and black water disposal, electricity, wireless, bar, restaurant and mini-market. There is a big new amenities block with WCs, showers, washing-up basins and a laundry with 1 washing machine and 1 tumble dryer (€4 each). There are also two smaller amenities blocks. There is no traffic apart from the site's own clients and it is very peaceful at night. The campsite has its own private, grassy "beach” 200m along the shore.
